Now hiring: Golf Outing Manager
Seeking an outgoing and energetic person to sell and manage group golf events and memberships at an upscale 18 hole public golf course.
Duties include:
Managing inquiries, sales, planning, and execution of all golf groups, including outings, leagues and tournaments.
Preparing contracts and managing scheduling for golf groups.
Coordinating golf group details with other departments and managers, including golf shop and outside staff, food and beverage staff, and grounds staff.
Collecting payment and managing accounts receivable for golf groups.
Working with, training and supervising staff in golf shop, bar, and beverage cart areas.
Selling and administering membership programs.
Managing and addressing the overall appearance and cleanliness of the business, both inside and outside.
Maintaining a positive working relationship with all staff and clients.
Managing multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Having strong leadership skills to effectively lead and motivate staff.
Helping with winter projects during the offseason.
We are looking for someone who:
Will sell and run group golf events in a professional manner by establishing mutually beneficial relationships with our clients while regularly meeting and exceeding their expectations.
Is focused on sales and customer service.
Has computer skills that include using a POS system, word processor, spreadsheets, and a .pdf editor.
Requirements:
Golf and/or sales experience is a plus but is not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
