Job Overview
We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support restaurant operations, supervise staff, and ensure that our guests receive top-notch service in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is experienced in food service management, possesses strong leadership skills, and thrives in a hospitality-focused setting.
Duties
- Assist with daily restaurant operations, including shift management and ensuring smooth workflow.
- Supervise and train staff on food preparation, customer service, and safety standards.
- Oversee food handling, preparation, and presentation to maintain quality and consistency.
- Manage inventory control, including stock rotation and ordering to meet operational needs.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to food safety and sanitation.
- Support budgeting efforts by monitoring costs and optimizing resources to improve profitability.
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant management or food service supervision.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for cash handling and sales tracking.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and develop staff effectively.
- Experience in managing inventory, food safety standards, and cost controls.
- Ability to handle customer inquiries professionally while maintaining high service standards.
