Position Overview
We are looking for a compassionate, professional, and highly organized Surgical Billing & Patient Care Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for collecting surgery payments, assisting patients with payment arrangements, providing exceptional customer service, and helping patients navigate their treatment journey.
The ideal candidate is confident discussing finances with empathy, communicates effectively, and is comfortable introducing patients to additional services offered by our comprehensive clinic when appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect surgery payments and process patient transactions accurately.
- Follow up with patients regarding outstanding balances and scheduled payments.
- Explain payment options, financing, and billing information in a clear and professional manner.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while building trust and long-term patient relationships.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document all communications in the CRM.
- Identify opportunities to educate patients about additional procedures and services that may benefit them.
- Coordinate with the Sales, Patient Coordinator, and Medical teams to ensure a seamless patient experience.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Perform additional administrative and billing-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) is REQUIRED.
- Previous experience in medical, cosmetic surgery, aesthetics, dental, or healthcare customer service is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and payment collection skills with a compassionate approach.
- Experience using a CRM system (HubSpot experience is a plus).
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Comfortable using multiple software platforms, mobile apps, and office technology.
- Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude, professionalism, and a team-player mindset.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
