Associate Sales Manager drives account sales performance, aligning operational plans with regional objectives. Leads forecasting, budgeting, and execution of retail initiatives to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction. Works closely with sales teams, logistics, and key accounts to identify growth opportunities and resolve operational challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement sales objectives set by regional or sales manager and exceed sales plan and quota
Forecast and manage budgetary objectives, analyze variances, and initiate corrective actions
Ensure accurate and timely purchase orders
Maintain promotional programs, feature projections, and current pricing
Communicate with account retail team to ensure execution of retail tasks
Liaise between logistics and accounts to minimize overstock and out‑of‑stock
Expand customer base by building rapport with key customers and identifying new opportunities
Track and evaluate effectiveness of budgeted spending and report results
Monitor accounts receivables weekly and communicate with corporate and sales manager
Recruit, train, and manage associates assigned to accounts, set expectations, review performance, and manage compensation actions
Identify new product opportunities, understand consumer needs, and track competitors
Present findings from Nielsen, IRI, or Spectra data to accounts
Qualifications:
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience extracting and mining data
Proficiency with A.C. Nielsen and Spectra syndicated data analysis tools
Strong presentation skills
Proven success managing multiple objectives and priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Ability to apply sound business principles and practices to projects
Strong communication and priority‑setting skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Real ID or passport for travel
Military experience welcomed
Physical ability to stand, bend, twist, walk, lift up to 20 pounds frequently, up to 60 pounds occasionally, push/pull carts up to 100 pounds, and reach/use both hands and arms
Benefits:
$65,000-$75,000 base salary based on experience
