Compensation & Earnings
- Annual Earning Potential: $90,000 - $100,000
- Daily Guarantee: $85/day
- Mileage Pay: $0.50 – $0.52 CPM
- Weekly Mileage: ~1,350 miles/week
- Overtime: 6th day available (Optional OT)
- Holiday Pay: $160/day
- Training Pay: $200/day
Component & Stop Pay
- NYC Stop Pay: $47.50
- Liftgate Stop: $30.00
- Live Stop: $17.25
- Drop & Hook: $17.50
- Detention Pay: $15.00/hr (Starts after 2 hours)
Job Details
- Route: Local dedicated grocery route servicing Connecticut & the NYC metro area.
- Operating Radius: 250-mile radius with predictable, consistent routes.
- Equipment: Automatic day cabs.
- Freight: Dedicated dry van grocery;
- unloading freight is required.
- Dry grocery deliveries
- Trailer sizes: 53’, 51’, 48’, 45’
- Average 2–3 stops per trailer
- Typically 1 primary load per day
- Secondary load possible if hours allow
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL (CDL-A)
- 3+ months of driving experience
- Good driving record (see below)
- Must be comfortable driving in New York City daily
- Ability to physically unload freight
- Strong customer service skills
Moving Violations (max in 3 year period)
- No more than 2 in the last 3 years
- Warnings on PSP will count towards moving violations

Policy on License Suspensions
- No more than 30 days in the last 3 years for moving violation
- No more than 12 months in the last 3 years for non-moving violations
- Must have a valid license for 2 out of last 3 years
DOT Recordable Accidents
- No more than 3 minor accidents/incidents in the past 3 years
- No more than 1 highway accident in the past year
- No major preventable in the last 3 years
* Major Preventable Accident Definition – Damage totaling $25,000 or more

- No more than 3 accidents and/or tickets
- No more than one preventable with less than 12 months of experience
