Washington Elementary School is seeking a dynamic, student-centered, and instructional leader to serve as our next Assistant Principal . We are looking for an educator who is passionate about improving student achievement, fostering positive school culture, supporting teachers, and building meaningful relationships with students, families, and the community.

Position Responsibilities
The Assistant Principal will work collaboratively with the Principal to:
- Support the implementation of the school's vision, mission, and strategic goals.
- Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
- Coach and support teachers through classroom observations, feedback, and professional development.
- Utilize multiple data sources to improve instruction and student outcomes.
- Assist with school-wide discipline using restorative and positive behavior practices.
- Support MTSS, PBIS, attendance initiatives, and student intervention programs.
- Monitor curriculum implementation and instructional best practices.
- Coordinate testing, safety procedures, and daily school operations.
- Build strong relationships with students, families, staff, and community stakeholders.
- Participate in professional learning communities and leadership meetings.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Principal.
Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Valid Indiana Administrator License (or eligibility for licensure).
- Successful teaching experience.
- Previous leadership experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of instructional best practices and data-driven decision making.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to coach, motivate, and develop staff.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to equity, continuous improvement, and student success.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
