The responsibilities of a Service Advisor include greeting customers, listening to their needs, and scheduling appointments as needed. They may also set up loaner cars and verify insurance before maintenance is scheduled.

What You’ll Do
Greet service customers and create a great first impression
Write repair orders accurately and efficiently
Communicate repair recommendations clearly
Keep customers updated throughout the service process
Coordinate with technicians and the parts department
Help maintain a smooth, high-quality customer experience
Follow up with customers as needed
What We’re Looking For
Previous service advisor/service writer experience preferred
Strong communication and customer service skills
Organized and able to handle a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude and team-first mindset
Dependable attendance and professionalism
Ford experience is a plus (but not required for the right person)

Service Advisor Requirements:
Previous experience at a Ford dealership is a plus
Ability to identify the problem quickly
Knowledge of automobiles
Proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction
Past experience as a service advisor, assistant lane manager or service consultant
Very energetic personality
A desire for a long-term career with a growing organization
Personal and professional integrity
Computer skills and willingness to learn new programs
Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
Minimum of 1 year in service department
Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer skills
Positive, friendly attitude
High school diploma or equivalent
