Mitchell College is conducting a local search for a Groundskeeper who will be responsible for maintaining the outdoor spaces of the campus to ensure a safe, clean, and aesthetically pleasing environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. The role involves regular upkeep of lawns, gardens, pathways, and other outdoor facilities, contributing to the overall appeal and functionality of the college grounds.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, and fertilizing lawns and gardens.

Plant and care for trees, shrubs, flowers, and other vegetation to enhance the campus landscape.

Maintain pathways, parking lots, and outdoor facilities by removing debris, snow, and ice as necessary.

Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and other tools.

Monitor and report any safety hazards or maintenance needs within the grounds to the appropriate department.

Assist with the setup and breakdown of outdoor events and activities as needed.

Collaborate with the facilities team to ensure efficient and effective grounds maintenance operations.

Required Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Required Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or a related field.

Experience operating and maintaining groundskeeping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers.
Required Skills and Abilities:
