Job Overview
Bravery Home Health is seeking an experienced Medicare Home Health Biller to join our revenue cycle team. This position is responsible for the timely and accurate billing and follow-up of Medicare home health claims, resolution of RTPs and billing issues, and management of Medicare accounts receivable.
The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of Medicare home health billing guidelines, understands the full billing lifecycle from NOA through final claim payment, and can independently manage claim follow-up in a fast-paced environment.
This is not an entry-level billing position. Candidates must have direct Home Health billing experience, specifically with Medicare Home Health claims and Medicare accounts receivable management.
This is an on-site position at our St. Augustine branch and is not a remote role.

Key Responsibilities
Medicare Billing & Claims Management
· Prepare, review, and submit Medicare home health claims accurately and timely
· Review claims for billing readiness, including NOA acceptance, physician orders, visit utilization, authorizations (when applicable), and supporting documentation
· Work Medicare RTP (Return to Provider) claims and billing edits promptly
· Investigate and resolve billing issues preventing claim submission or payment
· Monitor Medicare accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding claims
· Research and resolve denials, underpayments, rejections, and payment discrepancies
· Utilize Medicare DDE and payer portals to review claim status, RTP reason codes, and payment information
· Communicate with internal departments to resolve documentation or billing-related issues
· Maintain accurate account notes and documentation within the EMR and billing systems
· Assist in identifying trends causing billing delays or denials and escalate recurring issues appropriately

Qualifications
Required Experience
· Minimum 2 years of Medicare home health billing experience required
· Minimum 2 years of experience working Medicare home health accounts receivable required
· Experience working Medicare DDE systems required
· Experience working Medicare RTP statuses and claim corrections required
· Strong understanding of Medicare home health billing regulations and claim lifecycle
· Experience with Medicare billing follow-up, denials, and payment resolution
Preferred Experience
· Experience with WellSky/Kinnser preferred
· Experience with Waystar or other clearinghouse systems preferred
· Experience with Medicare PDGM billing preferred
