Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Paramedics(MEDICS) to join our dynamic team. As an Paramedic, you will play a crucial role in providing emergency medical care to patients in various settings, including pre-hospital environments and emergency rooms. You will be responsible for assessing patient conditions, administering necessary treatments, and ensuring safe transportation to medical facilities. This position requires strong clinical skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a commitment to patient care.
Duties
- Assess patients' conditions through thorough evaluations and vital sign monitoring.
- Administer injections and medications as prescribed by medical protocols.
- Perform airway management procedures to ensure patient breathing is maintained.
- Provide critical care support during transport to a Level I Trauma Center or other medical facilities.
- Utilize durable medical equipment (DME) effectively in patient care scenarios.
- Conduct venipuncture for blood draws as necessary for diagnostic purposes.
- Collaborate with emergency room staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatments provided.
- Engage in heavy lifting when required to assist patients or move equipment safely.
Experience
Ideal candidates will have prior experience in emergency medical services or related healthcare fields. Key qualifications include:
- Proven experience administering injections and medication administration.
- Familiarity with airway management techniques and critical care protocols.
- Experience working in an emergency room setting or with Level I Trauma Centers is preferred.
- Ability to drive emergency vehicles safely under various conditions.
- Strong physical capability for heavy lifting and performing tasks that require stamina.

Pay: $34.00 - $40.00 per hour
