We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our team which has been in the Gaslamp for over 28 years! The Field is a warm pub that delivers exceptional customer service.
In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, creating memorable experiences for guests through exceptional service and expertly crafted beverages. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help foster a lively atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing personalized recommendations and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Manage POS system Aloha for accurate order processing, cash handling, and sales transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and food handling standards.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, while adhering to responsible serving policies.
- Keep track of inventory levels, restocking supplies as needed to ensure smooth service flow.
Experience
- Previous bartending experience is highly preferred. 2-3 years
- Strong time management skills to handle a full bar top during busy hours effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol serving practices.
- Experience working in the food industry.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor that enhances guest experiences.

Pay: $17.75 per hour
