Commercial Litigation-Professioanl Liability Partner
Our client is seeking a Senior Attorney or Partner to join their New York office with a focus
on Commercial Litigation and Professional Liability matters. This is an excellent
opportunity for an experienced attorney looking to take on a high-level role within a growing
and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Handle complex commercial litigation and professional liability matters from inception
through resolution
- Manage all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion
practice, mediations, and trial preparation
- Provide strategic legal counsel and risk analysis to clients
- Maintain and build strong client relationships
- Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups on sophisticated matters
- Mentor junior attorneys and support overall team development
- Participate in business development efforts and firm growth initiatives
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Licensed and in good standing in New York
- Significant experience in commercial litigation and/or professional liability defense
- Strong writing, analytical, and courtroom skills
- Ability to independently manage cases and client relationships
- Portable book of business is a plus, but not required
Compensation:
- Partner-level compensation ranging from $200,000–$250,000+, depending on experience
and book of business
- Bonus opportunities available
