Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, and steering.
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems effectively.
- Repair or replace powertrain components, alignments, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and diesel engines as needed.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools to complete tasks efficiently.
- Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met and perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating procedures, and communicate repair findings clearly to customers.
Experience
- Proven dealership experience or service technician experience working with a variety of vehicle makes and models.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repairs.
- Familiarity with automotive electrical systems, schematics, ADAS calibration, and powertrain components.
- Experience working on GM vehicles or similar brands is a plus; diesel engine repair skills are highly valued.
- Knowledge of transmissions, vehicle maintenance procedures, wheel alignments, and automotive service standards.
- Ability to use diagnostic software and interpret technical data accurately.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
