As a Lawn Care Specialist for Advanced Lawn Solutions, you are responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of customer lawns through the scheduled application of our lawn care program. This is an outside, field position that requires attention to detail and problem diagnosis. Your duties and responsibilities will include the application of lawn care products, ongoing customer service and consultative sales while maintaining the highest standards of customer service and safety. Good organizational and interpersonal skills are required.

Job Description :
Perform aeration, seeding and fertilization of residential and commercial lawns. Mix and apply fertilizer, pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, or fungicides through spreader and/or sprayer application on lawns. On the job training and study material is included to qualify for Tennessee Pesticide Applicator certification. Must have a valid driver’s license with clean record.
- Candidates must be at least 21 years of age
- Lift, carry & load multiple 50 lb bags of fertilizers into service truck
- Fill sprayer tanks with water and chemicals according to formulas
- Drive service truck to each work site
- Apply fertilizer via push or motorized spreader to lawns according to appropriate rates
- Observe, identify and report lawn conditions
- Apply herbicides & pesticides as required, applying knowledge of integrated pest management
- Record accurate product usage information at each job site
- Write required notations on customer invoices
- Clean and service equipment daily
Qualifications:
- Education: High School/G.E.D
- Clean driver’s license
- Tennessee Category 3 pesticide certification (study material, and on the job training provided to prepare for certification test)
- Drug free work place (pass a drug screening)
