Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Plumbing Sewer and Drain Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing, sewer, and drainage systems across various construction sites and commercial properties. Your expertise will help ensure efficient operation of plumbing infrastructure, troubleshoot complex issues, and execute repairs with precision. Duties
- Inspect and diagnose issues within plumbing, sewer lines, and drainage systems using schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams
- Perform pipe threading, pipe fitting, and installation using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Repair or replace damaged pipes, fixtures, valves, and other plumbing components in commercial or construction settings
- Read and interpret construction blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate installation and repairs
- Utilize heavy lifting techniques safely when handling large pipes or equipment on construction sites
- Conduct remodeling or assembly tasks related to plumbing systems during renovation projects
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and system conditions for each project
- Operate construction machinery or vehicles as required for site access or material transport in compliance with safety standards
- Collaborate with other trades such as carpentry or HVAC technicians to coordinate project tasks effectively
Experience
- Proven experience in construction plumbing or related field with hands-on work on construction sites or commercial projects
- Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams specific to plumbing systems
- Skilled in using hand tools (wrenches, pipe cutters), power tools (drills, saws), welding equipment, and pipe threading machines
- Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus for integrated building system understanding
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper ergonomics
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout work during installations or repairs
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
