About the Opportunity
Pros There is seeking an experienced Regional Technology Manager to support a major financial industry client. This position is responsible for overseeing activities within technology spaces including equipment rooms, telecommunications rooms, and related infrastructure environments.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology operations, vendor management, infrastructure lifecycle management, and enterprise technology environments. This role requires a hands-on leader who can coordinate activities across multiple locations while ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
This is a long-term, on-site opportunity supporting a large enterprise environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee operations within assigned technology rooms and infrastructure environments.
- Coordinate installation, decommissioning, inventory, and hardware lifecycle activities.
- Manage third-party vendors and technician dispatches.
- Support technology-related incidents, service requests, projects, and initiatives.
- Conduct site inspections and document findings, risks, and remediation activities.
- Ensure adherence to operational standards, asset management procedures, access controls, and technology room best practices.
- Participate in preparation and operational readiness activities for new technology spaces.
- Provide regular status reporting on accomplishments, risks, and upcoming activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Travel periodically to assigned locations as required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Information Technology, Infrastructure Operations, Data Center Operations, Technology Facilities, or a related field.
- Experience managing third-party vendors and service providers.
- Strong understanding of technology room environments, telecommunications rooms, infrastructure equipment, and operational processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated project or program management experience.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently in a highly regulated enterprise environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting financial services, banking, healthcare, government, or other highly regulated organizations.
- Experience with asset management, access control processes, and infrastructure compliance programs.
- Experience within large enterprise or outsourced service delivery environments.
Additional Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be able to work on-site five days per week.
- Must be able to travel periodically as needed.
- Successful candidates will be required to pass pre-employment screening, including a comprehensive background investigation and other client-required onboarding requirements.
- Employment is contingent upon successfully meeting all client screening and eligibility requirements.
