Overview
Welcome to the Serve and Savour team! We are looking for a Catering Manager to lead the charge in delivering exceptional food experiences for a variety of events and occasions. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of catering operations, from menu planning and staff management all the way through event execution. Your leadership will ensure seamless service, uphold food safety standards, and create memorable dining moments that exceed client expectations. Client Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
- Guide clients through menu selection and event logistics.
- Schedule and conduct planning meetings and venue site visits.
- Respond to client emails and phone calls in a timely, professional manner.
- Build lasting relationships through exceptional customer service.
Event Planning
- Create and maintain detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
- Confirm timelines, floor plans, guest counts, dietary restrictions, and special requests.
- Coordinate rental orders, specialty equipment, and vendor logistics.
- Ensure all event documentation is accurate and distributed to the appropriate teams.
Event Execution
- Oversee on-site setup and breakdown when assigned.
- Ensure food presentation, service standards, and guest experience meet company expectations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly during events.
- Lead pre-event staff meetings and communicate event expectations.
- Represent the company professionally with clients, venues, and vendors
Qualifications
- 1+ year(s) of catering, hospitality, or event management experience.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with general catering software and Google Workspace.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
