Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, incorporating curriculum development and differentiated instruction techniques.
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies, ensuring safety and respect for all students.
- Utilize educational technology tools to enhance learning experiences, including interactive learning platforms and digital resources.
- Monitor student progress regularly through assessment data analysis, standardized testing, and ongoing formative evaluations to tailor instruction accordingly.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum implementation, teaching strategies, and student support initiatives to promote a cohesive educational environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents through regular updates, parent-teacher conferences, and written reports to support student development and address individual needs.
- Support children with diverse learning styles and special needs by adapting lessons for children with autism or those requiring early intervention services.
Experience
- Proven classroom experience working with young children in early childhood or elementary school settings, preferably in private or Montessori schools.
- Strong background in childhood development theories, literacy education, math instruction, and physical education for young learners.
- Experience working with children with special needs, including autism spectrum disorder, and implementing inclusive teaching practices.
- Familiarity with curriculum implementation standards, educational technology integration, and learning styles adaptability.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor colleagues, collaborate within a team environment, and contribute to educational administration tasks such as lesson planning and student performance data analysis.
- Knowledge of educational compliance regulations, standardized testing procedures, and behavior management techniques.
- Excellent communication skills in English with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and staff members.
