At Codemoji Coders, we run summer programs that make learning to code actually fun for kids. Students build projects, work with robots, and explore coding through our platform and hands-on offline activities — no screens-only learning here.
We're looking for someone to lead sessions for elementary-age kids (grades 1–5) this summer. You don't need to know how to code — we take care of all the lesson plans and materials. What we need is someone who's genuinely good with kids.
The right fit here is a teacher or educator with at least two years in a classroom. You know how to build relationships with students and parents, you show up on time, and you're comfortable navigating Google and basic tech hiccups like a spotty Wi-Fi connection. You'll need to bring your own laptop to each session — reach out if that's a barrier and we can talk through it.
Program Dates (all sessions run 8:30am – 3:45pm):
- June 29 – July 2
- July 6 – July 10
- July 13 – July 17
- July 20 – July 24
- July 27 – July 31
Day-to-day, you'll be:
- Arriving before the program starts and staying until every student is picked up or handed off per the school's process
- Completing a background check before your first session
- Reviewing lesson plans, testing the robots, and going through slides before each day — our Curriculum Designer is available for questions and will walk you through everything before you start
- Creating a space where kids feel safe and have fun
- Following the host school's rules and protocols
