We're looking for a reliable and talented **Line Cook/Prep Cook** to become part of our kitchen crew.
In this hands-on role, you'll help craft and serve delicious, high-quality meals in our busy kitchen. You'll support everything from ingredient prep and precise cooking to keeping the space spotless and up to top sanitation standards, assuring every plate that leaves the kitchen meets our quality expectations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Prep ingredients for all menu items, including washing, chopping, portioning, and preparing
- Accurately and efficiently follow recipes to prepare food items
- Cook and plate dishes to exact specifications during service
- Keep your workstation clean, organized, and sanitary at all times
- Help receive, check, and properly store incoming deliveries
- Work closely with the kitchen team to get orders out quickly and correctly
- Strictly follow all food safety rules, temperature controls, and health regulations
- Support inventory tracking, stock rotation (FIFO), and waste reduction
**What We're Looking For:**
- Solid experience as a Line Cook, Prep Cook, or similar kitchen role
- Familiarity with common kitchen tools, equipment, and basic cooking techniques
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation best practices
- Comfort thriving in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Clear communication and the ability to take direction during rushes
- Sharp attention to detail and consistency in execution
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive, can-do attitude
- Culinary school training, ServSafe certification, or related experience is a bonus (but not required)
