Job Overview
The Attic Learning Community is seeking dynamic, creative, collaborative teaching assistants for our early learning program. We are seeking an assistant for our primary classroom (ages 5-7) to provide both one-on-one and small group support. The Attic's unique, child-centered program engages students in active learning through inquiry, discovery and hands-on projects and activities. The Attic uses both its classroom spaces and our beautiful, 5 acre campus to make learning authentic and inspiring. Teaching assistants work closely with lead teachers in supporting learning for individuals and small groups, and work with students on creative projects, problem-solving and social learning.
Qualified applicants will have experience working with young children, particularly children ages 5-7. Previous experience as a teacher or paraeducator is preferred, and experience supporting neurodiverse students is preferred. Experience and the desire to work as part of a team is a must.
