Role Overview
We are supporting an established Irish construction consultancy that is expanding its operations into the United States following continued growth within the Data Center sector. This is a unique opportunity to join the business as one of its first U.S.-based hires and play a key role in building its North American presence.
The successful candidate will be embedded directly within a leading global technology client's project delivery team, leading the delivery of large-scale Data Center projects from inception through completion. This is not a traditional consultancy role; you will work alongside the client full-time while helping establish and grow the consultancy's U.S. operation.
The ideal candidate will come from a consultancy or owner's representative background with strong Project Management experience delivering complex Data Center projects. Candidates with Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, or Real Estate project experience will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of large-scale Data Center projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the client, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, and overall project performance.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary design and construction teams.
- Monitor project progress and ensure key milestones are achieved.
- Review project reporting, change management, and commercial performance.
- Support procurement activities and contractor selection.
- Identify and mitigate project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Contribute to the growth of the consultancy's U.S. business.
- Mentor and support future Project Managers as the U.S. team expands.
Requirements
- Consultancy, Owner's Representative, or Project Management background.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale Data Center projects preferred.
- Candidates with Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, or Real Estate project experience will also be considered.
- Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary project teams.
- Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Ability to work independently while embedded within a client's organisation.
- Willingness to work full-time on-site with the client.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $160,000–$230,000 DOE
