Job Summary
Join our dynamic construction team as an Underground Utility Pipelayer, where you'll play a vital role in installing and maintaining essential underground pipelines for utilities such as water, sewer This energetic position requires a motivated individual who thrives in outdoor construction environments, eager to contribute to large-scale infrastructure projects. As a pipelayer, you'll work closely with heavy equipment operators and other skilled tradespeople to ensure precise installation and safety standards are met. Your expertise will help deliver reliable utility services that support communities and industries alike.
Responsibilities
- Lay underground pipelines using heavy equipment such as dozers, excavators, loaders, backhoes, and front loader trucks to excavate trenches and prepare sites for pipe installation.
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, construction plans, and technical drawings to accurately position pipelines according to specifications.
- Operate specialized tools like pipe lasers and pipe locators to ensure precise alignment and depth of pipelines during installation.
- Perform concrete finishing and concrete forming tasks around pipeline areas when necessary for support structures or trench stabilization.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols, inspecting equipment regularly, and reporting hazards promptly.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, construction site procedures, and pipeline installation techniques.
- Familiarity with construction safety standards and practices specific to utility installation projects.
- Experience working on construction sites involving pipeline infrastructure is highly desirable.

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
