Security Officer – Level 1 (Unarmed) – Retail & Financial Institutions
Location: Clovis – New Mexico

As a Level 1 Security Officer, your role goes beyond simply observing and reporting. Our officers are trained to be professional problem-solvers who prioritize de-escalation, communication, and conflict resolution to maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients, employees, and the public.
Our primary goal is de-escalation whenever possible. The most effective security professionals calmly assess situations, communicate clearly, and address problems proactively.

Maintain a visible and professional security presence

Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter criminal activity

Observe and report suspicious behavior or safety concerns

Use verbal communication and deescalation techniques to resolve conflicts safely

Provide excellent customer service to clients, employees, and visitors

Conduct access control and enforce site policies and procedures

Complete incident reports and activity logs using reporting systems

Respond appropriately to emergencies and contact law enforcement or management when necessary

Must obtain or possess a New Mexico Level 1 Security Officer License

Must be at least 18 years of age

Reliable transportation

Strong communication and conflict resolution skills

Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
