Quality Truck Center is a family-owned and operated commercial truck dealership serving Southern New Jersey for over 30 years. We are an OEM dealership for Hino Trucks, Mitsubishi Fuso, and Cummins, providing sales, service, warranty repairs, and fleet maintenance for commercial trucks and heavy equipment.
We're looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic / Heavy Equipment Technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, enjoys diagnosing difficult problems, and wants a long-term career—not just another job.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, drivetrains, electrical systems, brakes, steering, suspension, hydraulic systems, and HVAC
- Perform preventative maintenance and DOT inspections
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electronic issues using modern diagnostic equipment
- Complete warranty and customer-pay repairs efficiently and accurately
- Maintain detailed repair documentation
- Work independently while collaborating with a knowledgeable service team
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications
- Several years of professional diesel technician experience
- Experience with medium and heavy-duty trucks and/or construction equipment preferred
- Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience using computerized diagnostic software
- ASE certifications and/or manufacturer training are a plus
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Positive attitude and commitment to quality workmanship
