How you'll contribute
A Housekeeper who excels in this role:

Creates a sanitary, safe environment and enhances the appearance of the facility.

Reports to the Director of Environmental Services.

Performs general cleaning tasks, supplies management, and ensures safety standards are met in coordination with plant operations.

Perform dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, and trash removal

Replenish toiletry and linen supplies consistently

Inventory and order cleaning supplies and equipment
-
Work with the plant operations team to maintain a safe, risk-free environment

Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and hospital standards
-
Perform routine cleaning tasks of patient rooms, offices, and public areas while ensuring a safe and risk preventative environment within OSHA regulations.
- Ensure that adequate linens are kept in the hospital.

Report any situations that may affect health and well-being of patients or employees.

Assure that supply closets are kept clean and orderly.

Responsible for disposal of trash, waste, and other disposable materials in accordance with OSHA.

Report any needed repairs immediately to supervisor.

Submit any patient personal belongings left behind to nursing supervisor.

Follows P&Ps for terminal cleaning of a room.

Follows instructions in use of germicidal solutions when cleaning.

Use safety precautions in all housekeeping services.
What we’re looking for
Education:
-
High School Diploma is preferred.
Experience:
-
Previous clinical housekeeping experience is preferred.
Skills:
-
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Copper Springs is a behavioral health hospital located in Avondale, AZ, part of the greater Phoenix metro area. We provide inpatient and outpatient programming for those facing mental health and addiction challenges. Our programs offer caring, compassionate treatment for adolescents and adults, as well as specialized programming for active-duty military, veterans, first responders, and other high-risk frontline professionals.
