Duties
- Assist with framing, drywall installation, and other carpentry tasks using hand tools and power tools.
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support project execution.
- Perform heavy lifting and material handling to support the installation of siding, roofing, flooring, and fixtures.
- Prepare surfaces through plastering, caulking, stucco application, or water damage restoration techniques.
- Set up and operate concrete forms, rebar installation, metal stud framing, and masonry work as needed.
- Support remodeling projects by installing cabinets, doors, windows, and other fixtures with precision.
- Follow all safety protocols related to power tool operation, scaffolding use, and site safety regulations.
Skills
- Proven construction experience with knowledge of framing, roofing, drywall, and general carpentry.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and measuring devices.
- Familiarity with power tools including saws, drills, grinders, and sanders while maintaining strict power tool safety standards.
- Experience in concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work or water damage restoration is a plus.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights or in confined spaces.
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes and ability to interpret construction plans for project planning.
