Responsibilities
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients according to established recipes and standards
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicing tools safely and efficiently
- Assemble pizzas with precision, ensuring consistency in size, presentation, and flavor profile
- Maintain food safety standards by adhering to sanitizing procedures and proper food handling techniques
- Assist in menu planning by suggesting new pizza varieties or ingredient combinations
- Support high-volume production during peak hours while maintaining quality and speed
- Follow recipe adherence to ensure each pizza meets brand specifications and customer expectations
Experience
- Previous food preparation or kitchen experience, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant or pizzeria setting
- Knowledge of food safety management and sanitizing procedures in a commercial kitchen environment
- Skilled in operating various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Experience with food handling, cooking techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and meal preparation
- Familiarity with culinary concepts including recipe adherence and food production processes
- Strong knife skills and experience with fine dining or high-volume food production are advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
