Great American Assisted Living at Bradenton is seeking an outgoing and vibrant Activities Coordinator with experience, to join our passionate and rapidly growing team. WE also would like for this person to drive sometimes. DRIVING INVOLVED This position would also involve Driving. Must be able to pass a level 2 Background check.

Your Responsibilities (bout not limited to):
- Plan, implement and monitor wellness and recreation programs
- Provide programs and events that encourage engagement and socialization to help support high quality of life for our residents
- Manage volunteer program, including recruitment, training and supervising volunteers
- Plan monthly life enrichment calendar for communities
- Coordinate transportation of residents to and from events outside of the community
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Ideally an Associate's degree with emphasis in recreation, health education or related field; bachelor's degree preferred
- Two or more years of direct programming experience with older adults
- Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
- Compassion and desire to work with the senior population
