Key Duties
- Field Prospecting: Visit local businesses, corporate offices, and industrial hubs to pitch the hotel.
- Outside Sales Calls: Conduct cold calls and drop-ins daily to discover new group booking leads.
- Local Networking: Attend chamber of commerce events, trade shows, and community mixers to build relationships.
- Site Inspections: Bring prospects back to the property for tours of rooms and meeting spaces.
- Relationship Building: Secure volume contracts with corporate travel buyers, sport teams, and tour groups.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of proactive, outside b2b sales or field sales experience.
- Mobility: Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for daily travel.
- Mindset: Highly self-motivated target-driven individual who thrives working outside an office.
- Communication: Confident public speaker with expert-level persuasion and objection-handling skills.
- Tech Skills: Ability to update sales activities on mobile CRM software while on the road.
