Location: Bloomington, IN
Position: Full-time Ophthalmic Assistant
Schedule: Monday-Friday; 7:45 am - 5 pm.
Responsibilities:
- Assist ophthalmologists with patient exams
- Perform basic eye tests (visual acuity, refractions, etc.)
- Administer eye drops and prepare patients for procedures
- Maintain and clean ophthalmic instruments
- Educate patients on eye care and treatment plans
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in eye care or medical assisting preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and grow in the field
