Zam Zam Supermarket & Restaurant is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and friendly full-time Cashier / Customer Service Associate to join our team.
We are looking for someone who is fluent in both Arabic and English, enjoys working with people, and provides excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is respectful, professional, trustworthy, dependable, and able to work efficiently in a busy environment.
Responsibilities
● Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service
● Operate the cash register and POS system accurately
● Process cash, credit/debit, and other payments
● Handle cash responsibly and maintain an accurate register
● Answer customer questions and assist with products and store services
● Help keep the checkout area and front of the store clean and organized
● Assist customers with a friendly and positive attitude
● Communicate effectively with customers and team members
● Follow store policies and maintain a professional work environment
● Assist with other general store duties as needed
Qualifications
● Fluent in Arabic and English
● Excellent communication and customer-service skills
● Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
● Friendly, respectful, and professional
● Trustworthy and comfortable handling money
● Comfortable learning and using a POS/register system
● Previous cashier, retail, grocery, restaurant, or customer-service experience is preferred
● Able to work independently and as part of a team
● Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Schedule
Full-time positionStore hours: 9:00 AM–9:00 PM. Schedule will be arranged within store operating hours, with one regular day off each week.
