We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and a passion for the food industry and MUST BE 18+!
As a Server, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests while ensuring that all food and beverage orders are accurately processed and delivered in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the Aloha POS system, ensuring all requests are communicated to the kitchen staff.
- Provide recommendations on menu items, including specials and pairings, to enhance the dining experience.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation.
- Manage multiple tables efficiently, demonstrating strong time management skills to ensure timely service.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sanitizing tables, utensils, and other equipment as required.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction throughout their visit.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Excellent time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks during busy shifts.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices in food handling is essential to ensure compliance with health regulations.
