Position Summary:
We are hiring passionate and experienced Special Education Teachers to join our team at Karter Little Wins. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, creativity, and compassion to their work with young children, helping them achieve developmental milestones and build foundational skills for lifelong learning.
Key Responsibilities:
● Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for children aged 2 to 9, in accordance with Virginia state regulations.
● Deliver direct instruction using developmentally appropriate strategies that support cognitive, language, motor, social-emotional, and adaptive development.
● Collaborate with families, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and other professionals to provide well-rounded, holistic support.
● Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with IDEA and Virginia Department of Education standards.
● Participate in team meetings, family conferences, and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
● Experience working with young children with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, or other special needs preferred.
● Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Pay is determined based on your relevant experience, education, certifications, and overall qualifications. We are committed to offering competitive compensation that reflects the value you bring to our team.
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
