American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Golden, CO, requiring a CO or compact RN license and multiple AHA certifications including TNCC and ENPC.

Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting in Golden, CO

Variable 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hrs/week)

Weekend shifts are required

Floating to other departments may be required based on business need

On-call may be required during regularly scheduled shifts

Epic is the EMR used for charting

Active CO or compact RN license required (no pending licenses)

Minimum 1 year of ED nursing experience required

Required AHA certifications (must not expire prior to start date): BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and NIHSS

Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred

DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for ED patients

Duties also include patient teaching and counseling, executing delegated medical functions, referring patients for further evaluation, and monitoring treatment plans
-
Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
