Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team. Responsibilities
- Diagnose automotive issues using advanced automotive diagnostics tools and schematics to identify problems accurately.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including powertrain, transmissions, electrical systems, and diesel engines.
- Conduct wheel alignments and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations to ensure vehicle safety features operate correctly.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to complete repairs efficiently.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems.
- Service vehicles according to manufacturer specifications, ensuring quality workmanship in all automotive repairs.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs, estimated timelines, and maintenance recommendations.
Qualifications
- Proven dealership experience or service technician experience in an automotive repair environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, powertrain, transmissions, and diesel engine repair.
- Familiarity with ADAS calibration, schematics interpretation, and auto estimating software is preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive service tools.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Valid mechanic license or relevant certifications are highly desirable; ongoing training is encouraged to stay current with industry advancements.
