Position Summary
Brazilian Wax & Spa by Claudia is seeking a passionate, licensed Wax Specialist / Esthetician to join our growing team.
The primary focus of this role is providing exceptional face and body waxing services while delivering an outstanding client experience. Candidates who are also trained and licensed to perform facials and other esthetic services are strongly preferred, as they may have opportunities to provide additional skincare treatments based on business needs. However, applicants who specialize exclusively in waxing are also encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities (Required)
- Perform professional face and body waxing services using company-approved techniques.
- Educate clients on proper pre- and post-treatment care.
- Recommend retail products, memberships, and service packages based on each client's needs.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships through exceptional customer service.
- Meet individual service, retail, and membership sales goals.
- Maintain treatment rooms, equipment, and supplies in accordance with company cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Follow all applicable state licensing regulations and company policies.
- Accurately document client services and treatment notes.
- Work collaboratively with the front desk and spa team to provide a seamless client experience.
Additional Responsibilities (If Licensed and Qualified)
- Perform facials and other skincare services offered by the spa.
- Perform additional licensed esthetic services, including sugaring, threading, body treatments, lash or brow services, based on training, licensing, and business needs.
- Educate clients on skincare routines and recommend treatment plans to support their skincare goals.
Qualifications
- Current Esthetician or Cosmetology license as required by the state in which you will be practicing.
- Previous waxing experience is preferred but not required. Paid training is provided.
- Experience performing facials and other esthetic services is preferred but not required.
- Strong commitment to customer service and client satisfaction.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
- Availability to work 35–40 hours per week, including weekends, is preferred for full-time team members.

Travel Requirements
Employees may occasionally be asked to provide coverage at another Brazilian Wax & Spa by Claudia location based on business needs. When approved by management, eligible mileage reimbursement will be provided for travel to a location other than the employee's primary assigned spa.
