Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food items efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and payments
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Handle cash transactions accurately and perform cash handling duties
- Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness of the dining area
- Support upselling efforts to enhance sales and improve guest experience
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with health regulations
- Support kitchen operations including basic food prep and sanitation tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, quick service & fast food restaurant, café, or retail environment preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while managing multiple responsibilities
- Experience with food preparation, serving, bussing, or kitchen tasks is desirable
- Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Willingness to learn new skills related to the food industry and restaurant operations
