Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Laborer/Helper specializing in Masonry and Carpentry to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will assist skilled tradespeople in executing a variety of construction projects, including building, renovation, restoration, and heavy-duty tasks. Duties
- Assist with concrete forming, finishing, and related tasks to support masonry operations
- Help install rebar and metal stud framing to prepare for concrete pours or structural elements
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely to carry out carpentry, roofing, or plastering tasks
- Support the setup and operation of heavy equipment used on construction sites
- Read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications and assist in layout work
- Aid in tile laying, stucco application, caulking, trim carpentry, and other finishing work
- Contribute to renovation and restoration projects by preparing surfaces and assisting with material handling
Skills
- Knowledge of concrete forming techniques and concrete finishing processes
- Experience with construction estimating and blueprint reading for accurate task execution
- Proficiency in rebar installation, masonry work, and heavy equipment operation
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment used in construction sites
- Understanding of schematics, metal stud framing, drywall installation, and roofing basics
- Ability to perform plastering, stucco application, caulking, tile laying, and trim carpentry tasks
- Strong safety awareness with experience working on construction sites involving scaffolding or elevated work
