Ready Set Taxes LLC is a growing tax preparation company seeking motivated individuals to join our remote team. Whether you’re an experienced tax professional or looking to start a new career, we provide the training, software, mentorship, and support needed to help you succeed.
No experience is required. We provide full training and ongoing support to help you develop the skills needed to prepare individual tax returns and deliver excellent service to clients.
Responsibilities
● Prepare individual income tax returns (Form 1040)
● Conduct client interviews and collect necessary documents
● Identify eligible deductions and tax credits
● Use company-provided tax software to prepare and electronically file returns
● Provide professional customer service and maintain client confidentiality
● Follow IRS guidelines and company procedures
● Participate in weekly training and professional development
● Build and maintain your client base through referrals and networking
Qualifications
Required
● Strong communication skills
● Basic computer proficiency
● Reliable laptop or smartphone and internet access
● Ability to learn quickly and follow established systems
● Professional and dependable work ethic
● Willingness to complete training and IRS due diligence requirements
Preferred but Not Required
● Previous tax preparation experience
● PTIN registration or willingness to obtain one
● Customer service, sales, or administrative experience
● Familiarity with tax software
● Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
