Job Summary
The General Manager is a hands-on leader responsible for the daily operations and performance the business. This role ensures excellence in customer service, team development, labor and cost control, and sales growth—while upholding the premium fast-casual standards our brand is known for. Store readiness, cleanliness, efficient ticket times, and high standards in food and visual presentation are essential to delivering a consistently warm and inviting guest experience.
The General Manager owns their store and takes an entrepreneurial approach—seizing opportunities, recommending improvements, solving problems proactively, and building a strong, reliable team. This role works closely with the founders and participates in the broader leadership team, collaborating across locations to support the success of the entire organization.
Key Responsibilities
People Leadership & Development
- Lead by example, cultivating a positive, high-energy, and guest-focused culture.
- Hire, onboard, and train team members in alignment with brand standards.
- Development of team and staff retention
Operations & Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with health and fire codes; maintain a clean, safe, and guest-ready environment.
- Lead, motivate, and train staff to deliver outstanding hospitality and maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness.
- Oversee inventory, ordering, and waste management to control food costs.
- Manage weekly labor planning and own payroll accuracy, aligning staffing with labor goals and sales demand.

Customer Experience & Brand Standards
- Deliver a warm, inviting guest experience through friendly service, efficient ticket times, and consistent product quality.
- Maintain high standards in cleanliness, food presentation, and visual merchandising.
- Address guest feedback with urgency and care.
- Engage with guests and always be a proactive business advocate
- Propose store-level events and community initiatives to build brand visibility and engagement.
Sales & Business Performance
- Drive store sales and profitability through effective labor management, upselling, and transaction growth.
- Maintain ownership of key controllables, including food cost, labor, and inventory accuracy.
- Review store performance regularly to identify and act on areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Proven management experience within the food industry or hospitality management roles; supervising experience preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Excellent leadership skills with a track record of team management, staff training & development, and supervising shifts effectively.
- Knowledge of inventory control procedures, food safety standards, and kitchen management best practices.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced quick service & casual dining environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly approach that fosters positive guest interactions.

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
