As a Multi-Skilled Craftsman, you will be the face of our business in our customers' homes. You will work on a diverse range of medium-to-small projects—from carpentry and drywall repair to light plumbing, electrical work, and tiling. This is a full-time, W2 position offering year-round work, a stable schedule, and the independence to manage your jobs without a supervisor breathing down your neck.
In this role, success is measured by your technical accuracy, your efficiency, and the trust you build with our customers. Here is what you can expect:
- On a Daily Basis: You will review your scheduled jobs through our dispatch app, arrive at residential or light commercial locations on time, evaluate the project scope with the customer, perform the work safely to high standards, and document completed jobs before moving on to the next.
- Over Time: You will build a reputation as a reliable expert, leading to repeat customer requests. You will consistently complete jobs within estimated timelines, maintain a clean safety record, and contribute to our high local customer satisfaction ratings.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in home maintenance, remodeling, or a variety of building trades.
- Strong proficiency in at least three of these areas: carpentry, drywall repair, painting, tiling, and basic plumbing or electrical work.
- A reliable, clean work truck or van, along with your own standard set of hand and power tools.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical repairs clearly to homeowners.
- The ability to pass a background check before starting.
- Prior experience estimating time and materials for small-to-medium home repair projects.
- Comfort using smartphones or tablets for scheduling, job notes, and capturing before-and-after photos.
- Experience in a customer-facing service role.
