Shop Diesel Mechanic / Welder
Full-Time | 40–50 Hours Per Week

Pat’s Offroad, Inc. is a growing oilfield service company based in the Gillette, Wyoming area. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Shop Diesel Mechanic/Welder to join our team immediately.
This is a full-time position, with typical hours ranging from 40–50 hours per week. The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, and takes pride in producing quality work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel engines, pickup trucks, and company equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
- Repair and maintain specialized heating and field equipment
- Perform welding and fabrication work as required
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections on trucks and equipment
- Replace faulty components and ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently
- Complete service reports and maintain accurate maintenance records
- Assist with additional shop and operational duties as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar mechanical role
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, components, and mechanical systems
- Welding and fabrication experience preferred
- Ability to use diagnostic software, tools, and equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding work
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Reliable transportation to the shop in Gillette, WY
Additional Requirements

Compensation
Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per hour
