Title: RN – Labor & Delivery (OB) – Night Shift

Assignment Type: 13-Week Travel Assignment
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Night Shift)
Pay Rate: $50 -55/hourly
Responsibilities
Assess, monitor, and care for mothers during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period.
Monitor maternal and fetal well-being using fetal heart monitoring and other assessment tools.
Administer medications, IV fluids, oxytocin, magnesium sulfate, and other treatments as prescribed.
Assist physicians and certified nurse-midwives during vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
Provide newborn stabilization and routine neonatal care immediately after delivery.
Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, breastfeeding, newborn care, postpartum recovery, and discharge instructions.
Qualifications:
Current and valid Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) License (or compact eligibility, if applicable).
Minimum of 1–2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience (travel experience preferred).
Current BLS (AHA) certification.
Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
