Position Overview:
We are hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to support a school-based adult education program in Liberty, NY. This role focuses on providing general health support to students ages 16–24 in a structured, non-acute setting.
This is an ideal opportunity for RNs looking to step away from bedside care and into a stable, lower-stress weekday role.
RN Responsibilities:
Provide basic nursing care and monitor student health needs
Administer medications as needed within RN scope of practice
Conduct health assessments and document findings
Maintain accurate and confidential student health records
Collaborate with school staff to support student safety
Respond to minor medical needs during the school day
Provide general health education and guidance
What You Need:
Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license (required)
Ability to work independently in a school setting
Strong documentation and communication skills
Professional, calm, and student-focused approach
School nursing, public health, or outpatient experience
Experience working with young adults or community programs
This is an on-site position in Liberty, NY.
