American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a high-volume, Level IV Maternal Designation facility in Austin, TX, requiring at least 2 years of L&D experience and intermediate fetal monitoring certification.

Night shift schedule: 18:45–07:15

13-week assignment

Level IV Maternal Designation facility with 20 LDR suites, 4 C-section suites, 10 triage rooms, 51 Mother-Baby Couplet rooms, and 14 monitored antepartum beds
-
High-volume delivery service performing 500+ deliveries per month
-
Academic teaching service alongside large private OB practices
-
High-risk, fast-paced environment with 24-hour in-house attending OB, anesthesia, and NICU coverage
-
Active Perinatal Transport Program

Facility is expanding to a new Women's Tower in mid-2026
-
Active TX RN license or a compact RN license valid in Texas
-
Minimum 2 years of L&D/Perinatal experience in a high-volume delivery service required

Current certifications required: BLS (AHA or Red Cross), ACLS (AHA or Red Cross), and NRP (AAP)

Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification required

Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required

Must possess a valid US Social Security Number and US home address

Driver's License required

Two professional references required

Full DOB required for consideration

3–5 years of Perinatal clinical experience in a high-volume setting is preferred

Preferred certifications include S.T.A.B.L.E. Program certification and Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification

BSN is preferred
