Duties
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas, hallways, stairwells, and service corridors by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to uphold high standards of hygiene and appearance
- Assist with replenishing supplies in guest areas and restocking linen closets to ensure smooth housekeeping operations
- Support the housekeeping team by transporting laundry, trash, and cleaning supplies efficiently throughout the property
- Perform routine floor care including buffing, polishing, and deep cleaning of carpets and hard surfaces to preserve their quality and appearance
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained, stored safely, and ready for use at all times
- Respond promptly to special requests from guests or housekeeping staff to enhance overall service quality
- Conduct routine inspections of common areas to identify maintenance or cleanliness issues and report them for prompt resolution
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services within hospitality or industrial settings is highly desirable
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred but not required; a strong interest in hospitality is essential
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and moving equipment or supplies efficiently
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
- A team-oriented attitude with excellent communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with colleagues
