Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our school OT/PT team. The ideal candidate will possess the skills necessary for working with students in a typical school setting. As a COTA, you will collaborate closely with our on-site Occupational Therapists to implement treatment plans in the child's everyday classroom setting. This is an academic year position (with summertime work optional) that follows the school's and teacher's calendars for the designated school district.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program is required.
- Desire to work with children in a school setting.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with school team and families.
- Knowledge of/or willingness to learn documentation procedures.
