Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Window Installer, Door Installer, Siding Installer (Exterior Home Improvement Installer) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and construction, with the ability to install windows, doors, and siding efficiently and accurately. This role requires mechanical knowledge, physical strength for heavy lifting, and proficiency in using various power tools. As a Window, Door, Siding Installer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the functionality and aesthetics of residential and commercial properties.
Responsibilities
- Install windows, doors, and siding according to industry standards, codes, and specifications.
- Perform finish carpentry tasks, including interior and exterior trim work, such as casing, and molding installation.
- Perform metal break work
- Assess and prepare job sites, ensuring proper measurements and alignment.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely project completion.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and addressing any concerns.
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues as they arise.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Utilize power tools safely and effectively for cutting, drilling, and fastening materials.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure seamless project execution.
- Handle heavy lifting of materials and equipment during installations.
- Demonstrate mechanical knowledge by troubleshooting installation issues as they arise.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on the construction site.
- Adhere to safety protocols to ensure personal safety and that of team members.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in window, door, or siding installation or related carpentry work.
- Strong skills in frame carpentry, trim carpentry, and window / door installation.
- Familiarity with residential buliding practices, codes, and systems.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot common installation challenges.
- Experience using power tools safely and effectively is essential.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 80 pounds) as required by the job.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
