Emerald Search Partners is assisting a growing law firm in its search for a Real Estate Litigation Paralegal (5288) to support attorneys through all phases of real estate disputes, title conflicts, and landlord-tenant litigation. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced litigation paralegal who enjoys managing complex cases, conducting property-related research, and playing a key role in trial preparation within a collaborative legal team.
Responsibilities
- Manage litigation case files and maintain master litigation calendars.
- Monitor court deadlines, statutes of limitation, and other critical case deadlines.
- Draft pleadings, including complaints, answers, motions, and discovery requests.
- Manage document productions, organize exhibits, and prepare document indices.
- Conduct property research, including deeds, title policies, and public property records.
- Search county recorder and tax assessor databases.
- Handle electronic filing in state courts.
- Prepare trial notebooks, exhibit binders, and other trial materials.
- Coordinate depositions, witness scheduling, and subpoenas.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of civil litigation or real estate litigation experience.
- Experience handling real estate disputes, including chain-of-title or boundary matters, strongly preferred.
- Experience with commercial landlord-tenant litigation is a plus.
- Proficiency with electronic court filing systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active litigation matters.
Compensation
Up to $85,000, Annually, DOE
